At the weekend Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra married US singer Nick Jonas in the opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. It was the celebrity wedding of the year and WOW, what a celebration! With the joining of two faiths and cultures there were a number of different ceremonies and oh so many beautiful gowns!
The traditional Hindu Sangeet and Mehendi were an explosion on colour, dancing and love. The bride and groom both wore Sabyasachi, a top Indian designer. Priyanka’s was a stunning crimson red with beautiful crystals and detailed beadwork, and his a traditional silk sherwani in gold. For the for the white-flower-filled Christian ceremony (officiated by his father!) they wore Ralph Lauren. Let’s take a look………
