2016 Bridal Bouquet Trends for UAE Brides

We’ve just closed yet another fabulous competition! This time the lovely team at Firenze Flora gave all of you beautiful brides-to-be the chance to win a stunning bridal bouquet for your big day worth AED 1,000.

To enter, we asked you to let us know which flowers you would love to have in your dream bouquet, and why. We received so many wonderful responses, but our winning entry was particularly special… because it came from a Groom entering on behalf of his fiancé. Top points for romance, and huge congratulations to our winner Kris McNab, who chose roses because they are his wife-to-be’s favourite, and the first flowers he ever bought for her. We hope the future Mrs McNab loves her prize bouquet!

We really enjoyed discovering that so many different flowers are so special to you all for so many different reasons, so we decided to share a few of our favourite entries with you.

We hope you enjoy the flower inspo as much as we did…

1, I would love to have Gardenia, Peonies and Ranunculus in my bridal bouquet. Their bright colours and big blooms reflect my playful and cheerful attitude.

2, I think a bouquet is unique and individual and should suit your personality so for me, that’s roses.

3, Peonies, because they symbolise love and prosperity, which I hope will set us in good stead for the rest of our married lives. It is also my mother’s favourite flower.

4, I would love a combination of Roses and Tulips. Roses are the definitive symbol for love and appreciation, while tulips impart a sense of grace and elegance.

5, A colourful bouquet befitting my indoor secret garden theme. Vintage with a touch of gold.

6, Red roses because they are the symbol for love.

7, I want a bouquet of Lilies. The Lily has been my favourite flower since I was a little girl and always reminds me of my grandparents.

8, I would like white and light pink flowers because they make me feel relaxed and happy. They also mean peace in my tribe.

9, Calla Lily because it can come in my favourite colour (purple), it’s elegant yet simple, and the name itself sounds quite romantic. What could be better for a purple-and-silver themed wedding?

10, I would choose to have cherry blossoms, as that’s the theme of my wedding. I find Sakura/Cherry Blossom trees so divine and beautiful and that is what I would like my marriage to grow into.

11, White roses with some lavender and lots of green leaves.

So many different and yet equally beautiful bouquet ideas, we hope it helps to bring your own ideas into full bloom.
