5 Fabulous Wedding Dress Trends – Fall 2015

Bridal Fashion Week for Fall 2015 took place in New York last month and as expected the catwalks were awash with gorgeous and inspiring new bridal trends. Contemporary brides can looking forward to incorporating their bridal attire in with their every day wardrobe thanks to a flurry of gorgeous separates – separates made their mark last season with designer Houghton leading the bridal fashion pack but this season saw even more bridal separates make their way down the runway with the likes of Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra and Pronovias all showcasing this trend.

Other trends that are still floating about from last season include sensual off-the-shoulder styles, high and cowl necklines and daringly low backs – the back has just as much wow factor as the front this season with plunging cut-outs and lots and lots of embellishment. Popular trends on the runway included skinny spaghetti style straps, fringing and feathers, floral detailing, daring slits and the trouser suit. But some of our favourite bridal styles from Fall Fashion Week 2015 have to be corset style bodices, alluring deep V necklines, chic long sleeves, dresses overflowing with jewels and gowns with just a hint of colour – see more about these fab trends below.

Colour has slowly being making its way in to the hearts of brides and bridal designers with celebs like Jessica Biel and Reese Witherspoon donning coloured wedding gowns for their Big Day. This season’s colour comes in soft and pretty pastel hues, adding just a hint of colour to designer creations.

Long Sleeve Wedding Dresses

The long sleeve is going nowhere! As with last season, there were lots of lace, embellished and tulle style sleeves adorning wedding dresses but Fall 2015 saw the arrival of a flouncier sheer version, for those after a looser sleeve.
