We love seeing new wedding trends pop up and one we’re seeing more and more of lately is maids of honor donning an extra special dress or accessories! Being any type of bridesmaid is a total privilege but being asked to be Maid of Honor is a real honor. If you’re keen to make sure everyone knows who your main sidekick is, this little trend is the ideal way to go about it – there are lots of subtle (or spectacular if you fancy it) ways to ensure your MOH stands out from the other girls from donning a different dress (we’re talking different fabric, style, shape or length) to accessories.
If you don’t want to mess with the overall look too much, accessories are a subtle but striking way for your MOH to set herself apart from the other maids. Things like statement earrings or a statement necklace, a sparkly belt or sash or some colorful shoes will make your Maid of Honor feel extra important while still keeping the look nice and balanced. Another fun way to make a bit of a statement is with the bouquet – think different colored flowers, a fabulous ribbon tie or even a brooch bouquet, or if you love your flowers, a floral crown is another cool option, especially if you’re wearing one too! Check out MOH’s rocking some of these fab ideas below…
