Wedding promotions are tons of fun and that’s why it’s worth taking the time and effort to create a unique social media ‘masterpiece’ that goes viral. Teasers: Wedding teasers can be found aplenty on sites like Facebook and YouTube and usually last for not more than 50 seconds. The idea behind a wedding teaser is to let guests, family and friends know that a wedding date has been fixed and that they can be expected to be invited soon. Some couples prefer to make a teaser video by compiling a collage of photographs in chronological series but if you have the budget for it, go all out and shoot an actual video at a picturesque location instead. Or you could also put together a few still photographs from your engagement shoot and make them in to a teaser as well.

Trailers: We all love watching movie trailers and if you’ve always secretly wanted to star in your own unique trailer, your wedding gives you the perfect excuse to do so! Some couples choose to re-enact a few scenes from their favourite movie together wearing costumes and saying a few dialogues. During the editing process, an appropriate name for the trailer is put in as well along with the names of the cast. Fun trailer themes include comic hero characters, much loved characters from books and of course secret agent 007. The hard work that goes into making a trailer can be made more fun by involving family members and friends too.

Short Films: If you and your partner have a love story to tell than say yes to this cute social media idea. You could film different scenes at places that hold a special place in your hearts for example at the restaurant where he first proposed or at the exact location where the two of you first met. In fact, you could even turn this short film into a mini documentary by including interviews with family and friends and little snippets about each other as well. A good way to let your wedding guests know more about the two of you is by playing this film at the wedding itself and of course uploading it on your favourite social media site. A well made short film is something that can be cherished for life.
