We met…

We met at school when we were 16 and have dated ever since! Childhood sweethearts.

Our proposal…

Aman proposed to me in the Bahamas at the Atlantis hotel under the arch of the Royal Towers. Very Romantic!

Our wedding theme/colours…

Blush and rose gold.

My dress…

was the Rihanna dress by Kittychen Couture. I bought it from a wedding shop near Liverpool called Penny Gray Bridal.

My hair and make up…

was by the talented Monica at MHG Beauty. My hair was an updo with a sit plait at the front of my hair. I kept my hair simple as I wore a tiara and wanted to show off the back detail of my dress. I also wore a veil to complete my look. Monica also did all of my bridal party’s hair and make up. She did an amazing job and I couldn’t recommend her more!

His suit…

was black from Canali. It was black with flecks in the material. It was finished with a grey tie with a personalised message on the back from me to read on the morning of the wedding.

Our ceremony and/or celebrant…

was the amazing Binny Baker at HS Celebrants. She created the perfect ceremony for us.

We chose our photographer because…

we had an engagement shoot with Melrish and felt comfortable with them and liked their work and the pictures they created.

We chose our wedding coordinator because…

they were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us! They helped us to create our perfect wedding day.

We chose our venue because…

it was everything we wanted in a wedding venue. We viewed approximately 10 venues and The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai was perfect for us. We had the ceremony outside on the lawn under the gazebo and dinner and the party in the ballroom. It was perfect! The Ritz did everything they could to accommodate us.

Our menu…

was full of all of our favourite foods. When we went for our food tasting, the food was so good we couldn’t choose one option so we chose several for each course so that our guests could experience all of the flavours we had! All of the guests complemented how nice the food was.

We also had a dessert table with extra dessert and a candy bar from The Candy Bar by Manna.

Our honeymoon…

was at Finolhu in the Maldives. We live in the UK so all of our 100 guests flew out to Dubai with us and we all spent a week at the Atlantis Hotel which was amazing to spend a holiday with so many people. We then flew straight to the Maldives just the two of us which was complete paradise and exactly what we needed after a hectic week.

My favourite part of the wedding day…

all of it! I can’t choose, I loved everything about our wedding! It was just perfect and everything we could of wished for.

My piece of advice for other brides…

take time out with your husband to reflect on the day just the two of you. The day goes by in a whirlwind so it’s important to have that time just the two of you. Also, get a new perfume especially for your wedding day then every time you spray the perfume it will remind you of your wedding day.

We had so many personalised touches to our wedding day to make it unique and special to us.
