15 Fabulous Themes for Your UAE Hen Party

We we were so impressed with the fabulous responses and creativity from our entrants, we just had to share some of them with you. Check out some brilliant hen party themes courtesy of our UAE brides below…

1. 70s and 80s is my favorite theme because it brings out the beauty and elegance as well the creativity of each person!

2. My Hen theme would be ‘Titanic’ because it reveals true love and passion.

3. My perfect theme would be 80s! Myself and my friends were all born in the 80s and we love everything about the music and clothes! I would love to celebrate my hen with all my beautiful friends and family here in Dubai.

4. I’d have a ‘Nautical Glam’ theme because I love the mix of the glamour of Dubai and its nautical heritage.

5. My theme will be yellow! Everyone should come with henna applied on their hands with traditional yellow costumes. Everything will be a combination of yellow and brown – this is because in our culture we usually wear yellow at the henna ceremony (Mehendi Ceremony). Everyone should give one dance performance at least and there’ll be henna competitions too, with a photobooth and lots of other activities.

6. I would like an Arabian night themed party to experience the rich culture of the Gulf.

7. My theme would be ‘Henna’ and I’d have all my girl friends and family there. I’m originally from Baghdad but living in the UAE – traditionally the bride wears 7 different dresses during the party so it would be like a bachelorette party the Arabic way.

8. I’d have an ‘All that Glitters’ theme. Why? To end single life and start married life with lots of sparkle!

9. I’d love an Egyptian themed Henna Party. I am Syrian, and my fiancé’s nationality is Egyptian. To have an Egyptian Henna party would be really cute as all the girls would enjoy the music, plus it would show my fiancé how much I love him when I tell him about the theme, in honour of his culture.

10. ‘Whimsical Rustic’ is my perfect hen party theme since it will mirror my simplicity, playful and adventurous personality. I also want my friends to enjoy it fully without worrying about what to wear and without the hassle of being super formal at my party.

11. I would like to have a ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ party theme because of the colors, its uniqueness and comforting ambience.

12. I’d have a ‘Floral Party’ because I like flowers!

13. Fun, active and girly activities for my fiancée and her friends before our wedding in March next year!

14. I’d love an orange and purple theme. I want traditional colorful DIY decoration – my friends are always up for doing something exciting so I think they’d love this theme.

15. My ideal theme for my hen party would be books. I love literature and am a trained journalist and I love words. I’d love to see how your team can create a setting which reflects my love of some of the classic books of my childhood – Alice in Wonderland, The Little Prince, Winnie the Pooh, and then some of the books I have fallen in love with as an adult such as The Prophet by Khalil Gibran and the poems of Rumi and Charles Dickens. Books are a universal way of bringing everyone together.
