Things to do before leaving on the honeymoon
You might want to check if you cell phone will work well in the region you are travelling to. It is also a good idea to inform your bank that you are travelling in case they decide to freeze your bank account due to suspicious activity overseas! You could also call the hotel ahead to arrange for airport/station pick-up. Also call your local post office to stop and hold your mail or have a neighbour pick it for you. It is a good idea to inform your family about the itinerary and give them a list of phone numbers they can reach out in case of emergencies. Do not forget to keep a scanned copy of all important documents and email it to yourself or to a friend, in case you happen to lose it.
