Don’t fear if your groom wants more (or less) groomsmen than you want bridesmaids! Just keep optimistic and remember that on your big day you will be surrounded by your closest girls, that love you to pieces. You won’t need to deal with the pressure and anxiety of adding or subtracting people just to make up the even numbers. If you are a bride-to-be with an uneven wedding party, here are a couple pointers to getting it right.
How to “pair” them off
If you are thinking of walking down the aisle and freaking out that it might look awkward with an unequal amount of bridesmaids and groomsmen, think again. There are a few cute solutions when it comes to this and it’s all about making it work for you. Start thinking – bridesmaids strutting down the aisle solo or each groomsmen walking with two bridesmaids (or vice versa). Or mix it up to suit your wedding party, pair them up depending on your number – there are no “rules”!
How to nail the perfect photos
When it comes to photos, they don’t have to be all lined up! A skilled photographer will be able to guide you all to capture that perfect photo. Some Ideas could be mixing it up, why have girls on one side and guys on another? Have a few on each side of you can give that symmetrical look. Another Idea would be to have the whole wedding party stand to one side of you. Creating a sort of class photo feel.
