Pantone’s Spring Colour Palette For Weddings- Part 1

Each season, the world of fashion eagerly awaits a Fashion Colour Report from Pantone and this year the chosen shades were winners from the very beginning. Brides from all over are swooning over the much raved about ‘Marsala’ but there are so many other delightful shades in the colour palette that are guaranteed to look just as stunning on you. According to Pantone, their prime inspiration has been nature itself and the result is a collection of shades that are easy on the eye, which are feminine and which can also be paired with other colours to create delightful combinations. Let’s take a look at a few of these popular spring colours:

                                                            Get Groovy With The Blues

Blue reminds one of clear skies, of calm weather and of blue waters. There are four blue shades that brides can choose from.

Aquamarine which is so feminine is a great stress reliever too and creates a delightful contrast when worn with Marsala.

We think Scuba Blue will look gorgeous when used in a spring wedding theme and looks best when paired with creamy white or orchid purple.

Classic Blue works best for a beach wedding and is a shade that can be worn with élan by the groom too besides being used in the wedding decor too.

If classic blue which is a popular spring colour is too bright for you, then go with Dusk Blue, which is a much lighter variant and which also looks so pretty when worn with silver.

                                                         Look Regal In Pastels

Bright shades that pop may not be every bride’s slice of cake and that’s why we think you’ll love Pantone’s Spring pastel Shades.

Lucite Green reminds one of mint which was a big hit last year, and this refreshingly gentle colour is a must for garden parties or for vintage wedding themes.

Toasted Almond is an all natural brown colour which looks elegant when worn with ivory and can be paired with lavender herb for wedding decor that truly stands out.

2014 saw Freesia Yellow taking centre stage but this year, a much more toned down version of yellow called Custard with its soft feel good factor is getting much attention.  Blend it with Classic Blue as party wear or pair it with ivory for the rest of the wedding theme.
