What makes weddings at Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts Hotel, so special?
We are located at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts and in the middle between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We are a unique venue and cater for lots of different types of weddings. It’s an amazing landscape and we have a stunning river so the wedding party can even make their entrance on a boat! We’ve helped plan many destination weddings collaborating with the Bollywood Park specifically the Raj Mahal. There’s also a beautiful walkway which is great for Arabic or Indian weddings. On top of that we have some marvellous indoor and outdoor spaces for brides-to-be to choose from.
Our brides are always looking for something different – are there venues in Lapita to suit every couple?
Yes! We have lots of flexible event spaces. Our Polynesian inspired ballroom, Tamure – with its high ceilings and intricate woodcarving walls – exudes contemporary elegance and exotic charm. It’s our most spacious venue and can accommodate up to 400 guests. However it’s a multipurpose space and can be portioned in 4 sections according to your needs.
The Pavilion terrace is our gorgeous outdoor venue with an incredible Polynesian gazebo which overlooks our beautiful resort. This venue is unique, private and romantic. It can be decorated and personalized to become a magnificent place for your celebration.
Whichever venue you choose you’ll have access to our bridal room. It’s adjacent to the ballroom and Pavilion terrace and can accommodate all the bridal party and family for her preparations. Thanks to natural light it’s a unique place to take perfect pictures of the most important day of your life.
What is your most popular venue at the moment?
During the cooler months the Pavilion terrace is incredibly popular especially with its stunning views. Our Lawn area, which is in the centre of the resort, is also popular for a cozy garden ceremony. It’s ideal for smaller more intimate weddings or engagement parties. The tropical vendure of this open outdoor area crafts an elegant backdrop to your wedding.
Do you have an in house wedding team to help our brides plan their weddings?
Yes – we have a wedding planner to assist the bride through the entire process; step by step from the start of the planning all the way through to on-the-day coordination. As well as our wedding planners there’s also our team of chefs who can tailor menus to suit all tastes and create sumptuous wedding cakes!

Are there things for the guests to do in the resort and local area after the wedding?
As we are part of the Dubai Parks complex there’s sooooo much to do and we provide complimentary access to the 4 Parks (Bollywood, Legoland, Legoland Water Park and Motiongate) for the bride and groom. There’s also Riverland which includes many restaurnats and shops along the banks of the river or the guests can dine in one of our 3 restaurants. If you’re after some relaxation there’s 2 swimming pools and a lazy river. For those guests who fancy some retail therapy the Designer Outlet Mall is only 5 minutes away!!
Does you chef have a specialty when it comes to wedding catering?
We have lots of cuisines on offer including, Asian, Polynesian, Arabic, international and we’re also flexible to tailor all types of catering.
