Hold your biggest of days in the Grandest of venues, Copenhagen City Hall dates back to the late 1800's and is a truly imposing and breathtaking building. Built in a Nordic Romantic style it is considered to be Art Nouveau, and the style was inspired from the famous Italian Siena City Hall.
The ceremony room is truly magnificent, with ornate ceilings and dignified interior, witnesses are provided for you for all ceremonies at no extra cost, but the ceremony room can hold up to 60 people standing if you are bringing guests.
It is dominated by its richly ornamented front, the gilded statue of Absalon just above the balcony and the tall, slim clock tower. Making it one of the tallest buildings in Copenhagen. In addition to the tower clock, the City Hall also houses Jens Olsens World Clock.
Hearts on the floor lead from the main entrance up to the Ceremony room and waiting area , where your registrar will greet you. You can add your own vows and words, and bring your own music if you wish.
Its a romantic fairytale wedding come true, in a truly awe inspiring venue steeped in love and history.
