The amazing photographer Chandan Sojitra was kind enough to share with us 3 of his favourite destination weddings from last year. He’s creative and super talented and we love the way he is able to capture the emotion of each of the weddings; creating priceless memories for the brides. He is a true story teller and prides himself on being unobtrusive and discreet to really catch every precious moment. So let’s be inspired……..
Date of the wedding: 26th July 2018
Name of the bride and groom: Chandni & Arun
Location of wedding: ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford, England
“I really liked how traditional the wedding ceremony was. The theme was red and white, traditional colours but what I liked most was how Chandni incorporated elephants into her theme. Her dress embroidery had elephants and the lunch table centrepieces were intricate small wooden elephants.”
Date of the wedding: 22nd July 2018
Name of the bride and groom: Jayna & Kishen
Location of wedding: Tewin Bury Farm, Hertfordshire, England
“The Baraat procession was one to remember! Kishen was walked in by a live singer and keyboardist with the beats of the dhol drummers in the background. But not just that, the singer was wheeling a cart at the same time that had a caricature cardboard cut-out of the couple on the front – how cool is that?! I loved the floral theme of the wedding as well. The weather was perfect for it too! From the intricate gold floral embroidery on Jayna’s wedding dress, the pink blossom trees along the aisle way to the simple twigs and flower ball mandap décor – it all came together perfectly.”

Date of the wedding: 26th August 2018
Name of the bride and groom: Jason & Rachael
Location of wedding: Chateau D’agel, France
“The personal touches. The whole wedding had a part of their relationship in it – From hosting the wedding in France because that’s where their story began – Rachael moved away for a while and Jason came to visit her. To the ‘Love Letters of Great Men’ – Because Rachael had a love of literature and they studied English together, to the games in the garden because they went to Paris to watch the games together. All the small details had a little part of themselves in it.”
