Calling all brides to be – we have some fantastic inspiration for you! Feast your eyes on this dynamic, colourful and tropical styled shoot from We Do Events. The shoot was inspired by bold colours and tropical fruits which has created a spectacular, yet fun filled wedding with oodles of love in the air! Let’s catch up with the team from We Do Events to find out more…….

“The intention of the styled shoot was to be bold and adventurous with a unique combination of colours and romance creating a chic, rustic and glamorous look. The bold elements came from vibrant colours with touches of gold to emphasise the glamorous look. It was also our aim to encourage couples who may be hesitant, to be adventurous and approach their wedding with a sense that anything is possible! All the beautiful moments were captured by the talented Simi from Similitude Photography.”

“The shoot took place in the stunning grounds of Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai that mixed the elements of life: water represented by the beautiful lake and small waterfall, earth represented by the golf greens and fire represented the brown soil that surround the trees.”

“The tropical wedding theme was both warm and deep and modern yet relaxed; with gorgeous floral and botanical décor arranged immaculately by our very own Reham, the founder of We Do Events. The bouquet was unique with a mix of orange and fuchsia roses, alocazia leaf, hypericum berries, statica and calla lilies. It’s slightly different from the traditional floral bouquets and added a splash of colour to the chic and classy dress. The groom’s boutonniere was a mini orange rose with hypericum berries which tied in perfectly. All the floral arrangements were created by Irina from Blossom Tree Flowers.”

“The bride wore her hair in a romantic chignon, simple and elegant with a bit of sparkle in her head piece. The glamorous and flawless makeup was done by Laure Sejean of Laure Sejean Makeup. It reflects the simplicity of her dress as well as creating a mesmerizing feeling from her eyes that a bride should spread on her special day.”

“Both the wedding dress and the reception jumpsuit were designed by Jessy Rebekah, founder of Rebekah’s Bespoke Tailoring. The fabulous stretch crepe fabric dress features a skirt in a bias cut, with elegant three-quarter length sleeves. It flares to the floor with a chapel length train, light as feather, like walking on a cloud! Exquisite, shimmering hand stitched lace applique adorns the beautiful back of the dress and combined with pearl buttons it truly adds a touch of mystery and romance to the dress. The reception jumpsuit is a wonderful harmony between classic and elegant.”

“Since a touch of gold gave the overall look a glamorous feel we decided to have the place card names also in gold. They were calligraphed, carefully cut out and placed on pastel, dusty-pink coloured napkins. The table numbers were also printed in gold on to transparent acrylic which sat on a mini easel to complement the table. The invitations set the tone of the wedding to come – with a tropical and floral theme.”

“The tables were rectangular so we used 3 floral arrangements for each; a large one in the centre with 2 smaller ones either side. The vases were small, coloured in matte gold and filled with flowers of orange and fuchsia roses, alocazia leaf, hypericum berries, statica and calla lily. We also added some tropical fruits that inspired the overall theme such as papaya, dragon fruit, and pomegranate.”

“The simple and elegant wedding cake created by Spontiphoria featured a colourful array of flowers mirroring those used in the centre pieces, and was surrounded with tropical fruits to tie in the theme. It was displayed on a high table, covered with a bright fuchsia linen. The entire set-up was all about glamour so to complement the evening, the couple left in a luxurious Rolls Royce!”
