Maison Mathis is a Belgian restaurant and bar situated in Arabian Ranches. It’s known for its’ airy & contemporary décor, complemented by floor-to-ceiling French windows and marble topped tables. For couples looking for a venue to celebrate their recent engagement or to host a pre-wedding event, this is the perfect spot. We caught up with the general manager: Radek Slusarczyk & Head Chef: Bart Thoelen to see how Maison Mathis could make your event unforgettable.
1. For newly engaged couples looking to throw an engagement party, would you have any themes that you could incorporate in the menu– like colours or ingredients?
Any theme is possible, our chef and manager will meet with the couple and discuss any preferences or brainstorm with them in line with their general idea.
Maison Mathis is always open to assist with any specific requests or tailor-made menus.
2. What type of meats do you use in your dishes?
If discussed in advance, we can look with our suppliers whatever is needed. Currently, we have Australian lamb cuts, USA beef cuts, different pork dishes, and free range Chicken. Fish is mostly imported, but local options are possible.
3. Can you cater for a vegetarian or vegan guest?
Yes
4. Are the ingredients locally sourced, what’s your USP?
The selection of our vegetable and fruits are mostly imported from Europe and Australia, depending on the season.
We always will go for the best quality and where we have a good resource. Eggs are European Free Range, milk and yoghurt are UAE.
For private parties, we can offer a walking dinner experience, with life stations, charcoal life BBQ, live pizzas and pasta stations
We have our own bakery in the outlet, home-baked bread, and a large range of pastry sweets
5. Is there an exclusive space where the event can be held?
For weddings we prefer the couple to have the best experience for their special day, therefore we prefer the full restaurant & staff available for the wedding.
However, if the couple wants a smaller space can be discussed, depending on the number of invitees.
6. If so, what is the capacity of people you can host?
300
7. How far in advance do you have to book and what is the price?
We prefer 2 months’ notification in advance to organise everything smoothly. We cannot share a fixed price in advance.
We prefer to meet the couple or wedding planner first and then we can calculate & share a price on their specific demands.
8. Have you got any tailored packages for private events?
As mentioned before, we prefer to do tailor made packages to make every wedding event exclusive and very personal to the couple.
9. Are there any extra surprises you might throw in to celebrate the occasion, like a cake?
Nothing at this point, but everything can be discussed.
