“My favourite part of the wedding day was the wedding ceremony because it was very romantic and personal.”
The couple: Emil Marinov & Kataryna Stadler
Length of engagement: 3.5 Years | Wedding date: 16th May 2015
Wedding ceremony: Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai | Wedding Venue: Burj al Arab Dubai
Photographer: Max Bukovski | Wedding Celebrant: Helen Schrader
My wedding look… I wore a beautiful lace wedding gown with train that had a princess feel to it, and I opted for a romantic bridal up-do. My hair and makeup artists did a wonderful job, I felt amazing on the day. Emil wore a grey jacket and black trouser suit with white shirt and cravat and he looked very handsome.
Our ceremony and celebrant… The ceremony was very romantic. Our wedding celebrant Helen Schrader did a fabulous job and made the blessing feel very personal. Our friend and my bridesmaid sang during the ceremony, she had a beautiful voice and Emil’s best-woman was also involved in the ceremony. It was all in English although Helen previously worked with a translator to have it translated into Bulgarian and Polish for our parents and relatives as lots of the guests didn’t speak English. Helen was very professional and organised and she gave us so much useful advice during the wedding planning process. We’d highly recommend her to other couples.
We chose our photographer because… Max Bukovski is very professional and we loved his work. He has a brilliant wedding portfolio so we knew we were in safe hands.
We chose our venue because… We both live in Vienna (I’m from Bulgaria and Kathi is Polish) but we decided on a wedding celebration in Dubai! We love Dubai and wanted a beach ceremony so the Jumeirah Beach Hotel was perfect for this. We had our reception at Burj al Arab, both are great hotels with professional staff. The interior of the Burj Al Arab is incredible and really provided that wow backdrop for our wedding which is what we wanted. They did an excellent job organising our wedding.
My favourite part of the wedding day… was the wedding ceremony because it was very romantic and personal. We loved the wedding party too because it was a lot of fun!
My piece of advice for other brides… choose Helen Schrader as wedding celebrant and organize your wedding in Burj al Arab. They are really GREAT!
