An Iconic Ain Dubai Proposal, Captured by Fables and Hues

When Prateek decided to propose to the love of his life, Shafak, earlier this year, he was as sure of his chosen venue and photographer as he was of popping the question in the first place…and after seeing their beautiful images and video, we can’t help but to agree! Let’s hear from them…

We love a love story! How did you first meet? 

Shafak; We originally met at the office 3 years ago. I actually resigned after a week but we became friends when he left me a DM! Our friendship grew and the rest is history!

When did you know you wanted to spend the rest of your life together?

Shafak; Getting to know him as a friend first was important to me, and after a while his personality just won me over!

Prateek; I knew after our 3rd or 4th meeting as friends, but of course I waited patiently.

Why did you choose the venue for your proposal?

Prateek; I always knew she wanted something unique, and I don’t think you get more unique or iconic than Ain Dubai!

What made you arrange a photographer/videographer for the proposal?

Prateek; I knew that we had to capture this most precious moment, so arranging a photographer/videographer was a must! I really liked Urvashi Singh’s personality, and her style suited us and what I was looking for.

Which image of your proposal is your favourite and why?

Shafak; I loved so many, it would be impossible to choose!

Prateek; For me I like the ones where she’s smiling from ear to ear, of which there are quite a few too…so most of them!
