Formerly an Art Director, Aarefa draws from her extensive experience of designing and creating sets to orchestrate incredible experiential wedding setups, while Pramod channels his experience in Hospitality and Audio Visual Engineering. Can you tell our brides-to-be a bit more about your company?

UAE-based Splendid Surprise Luxury Weddings is a 360-degree Wedding and Events Management company, providing end-to-end solutions to create fabulous destination weddings. From getting to know the client, to planning, execution, and even after-sales services, we ensure their clients’ once-in-a-lifetime event is nothing short of a dream come true. We provide full A to Z event solutions for destination weddings, corporate events and all types of social events.

What are the most popular trends/themes you’re working with at the moment?

Recently we have worked on a whole range of themes, including Tropical Jungle, Festive in the Clouds, Moroccan, Greek among many more, and we are currently working on Pop Art, Emerald and Mykonos themes…watch this space!

Where are some of your favourite venues or settings in the UAE?

Our favorite venues would be Fairmont Ajman & Double Tree by Hilton Ras al Khaimah. But in Dubai our favourite venue to work with has to be Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts Hotel.

In your experience, what small detail can make a big impact at a wedding ceremony or reception?

Attention to every detail is very important. Last minute requests can be the most challenging, but we try to manage all the changes requested from us. Making the couple happy is our top priority!

Do you have any top wedding tips you would like to share with our couples?

Try to plan your weddings at least 6 months in advance, that way you can avoid any last minute disappointments, and hopefully have the wedding of your dreams!
